Top Note Mini Scrapbook

I made this as a Mothers Day gift, am now planning a class as a Christmas gift idea.

Cards - Bring on the Cake

The idea of the card came from my Upline, Jennie. I cased her idea as the Dressing Screen/Room Divider card, but changed her design to use our Decorative Label and Scallop Border Punches at the top and bottom, instead of hand cutting the card into a dome at the top and plain legs at the bottom. This is a class that I can do if you are interested.

Cards - Upsy Daisy

I designed this card for the LJBC Craft Group ladies. The idea is cased from another Demo. I called the technique Shadow Effect.

Cards - Create a Cupcake

This card incorporates the Build a Cupcake Punch and matching Create a Cupcake stamp set. They work perfectly together.

Cards - Bring on the Cake

Learnt how to make this flower from You Tube during the week. The DSP is Stitches from the current mini catalogue as is the "Birthday Wishes" greeting - from the Bring on the Cake set.

Cards - Slice of Life

This is another card I made at Friday's Play Day, using the Template of the day. First time I have used this wide ribbon and I love it. Plan on using the ribbon for my christmas cards. The stamp is from the current Level 1 Hostess set in the Mini Catalogue

Cards - Pun Fun

I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get these little critters to stand on top of each other. Saw this idea on another Demo's site. Really cute and simple.

Cards - Motorcycle

I made this one at Friday's Card Play Day using the Template for the day.

Cards - Clearly for You

The greeting is highlighted with a Bevelled Windowpane as seen in the currrent mini catalogue. They are fun to use and great to finish of a special card.

Cards - Embossing - Vintage Wallpaper

Double Embossing is the technique on this card. I then used the Blossoms die and Thanks die with the Big Shot to make the emblishments.

Cards - Pocket Silhouettes

Haven't made this card design for ages. It is fun to make and a little different.

Cards - Strength & Hope

Polished Stone is the technique behind the butterfly.

Cards - Clearly for You

The detailed piece on this card is distressed using the Distressing Kit.

Cards - Mask Embossing

The Techniques used here to only Emboss part of the embossing folder is called Masked Embossing. It takes a little patience but the result is good.

Cards - Lovely as a Tree

The background technique behind the tree is Polished Stone.

Cards - Birthday Bakery

This was the basic template from last Friday's Card Play Day. I used the Big Shot to cut the 18 and then blinged it with Dazzling Diamonds.

Cards - Sew Suite

This layout is from the template from mid April's Card Play Day. Colours are bright and cheerful, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango.

Cards - Sail Away

Made this one for my brother, using last Friday's template from our Card Play Day. Great single stamp for males cards. The background is DSP put through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice embossing folder.

Cards - Sail Away

Sail Away is a single stamp sold in the current Autumn/Winter mini catalogue. I made this card at my Card Play Day mid April, using the template of the day.

Cards - Motorcycle

Simple male card using the Motorcycle stamp and DSP.

Cards - Motorcycle

This great single stamp is available from the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue. Perfect for male cards.

Cards - Surfs Up

This layout is from a Card Play day Template from a couple of weeks ago. The colours are Cajan Craze, Marina Mist and Sahara Sand.

Cards - Simply Said

I re-visited an old favourite using the Simply Said stamp set. This was the first Stampin' Up! set I bought. I combined it the Manhattan embossing folder and 3 shades of pink. I designed this one for a workshop last week. We used a Mother's Day greeting on the workshop ones, and it is just around the corner.

Cards - Sew Suite

I tried to give a vintage style to this card using the Sew Suite stamp set, Newsprint DSP.

Cards - Sew Suite

Yet another design using the Sew Suite stamp set from the A/W Mini and the Sweet Button embosslits.

Cards - Sew Suite

With Mothers Day coming up, this is the perfect stamp set to create a card for a crafty Mum.

Cards - Sew Suite

I just love this new set, it is very versatile. I used the Buttons Embosslit to create the buttons.

Cards - Sew Suite

The card layout is using Friday's Card Play day Template. I got the clothes idea from another Demo's card and just loved her creativity.

Cards - Sentimental Journey

My friend Fran has moved to the US for a few years, so I made this card, an A4 size, for all the girls to sign when we went to a farewell dinner for her.

Cards - Sense of Time

Boy was this one tricky to make. I gave up first time. The instructions were not easy to follow. However I am really pleased with my design. It was worth the frustration.

Cards - Make a Monster

I hadn't done a waterfall card for over a year, so I designed this one for a workshop last week. It is a really fun card to make and can suit any occassion.

Cards - Make a Monster

This was my card I did at one of my Card Play days, using the Template of the day.

Cards - Loads of Love

Designed this one for a friend as an 18th card. I simply cut out an 18 with the Big Shot, and placed it in the back of the truck.

Cards - Just Believe

I designed this card for a Craft group of 13 ladies I did a workshop for recently.

Cards - Full Heart

This is my own design, using the Heart idea, however I did see the turn back lapel idea on another demo's card. I masked the Dots embossing folder to create a smooth space in the centre of the folder.

Cards - Full Heart Punch

I cased this card from another demonstrator. I love the way she used the Heart Punch.

Cards - Friends Wheel

Jennie, my upline showed me this design using balloons. It works perfectly with the Boho Blossoms Punch.

Cards - Fancy Flower Punch

This card design just evolved, I was playing making the window frame, already had the flower made, then the design idea just flowed.

Cards - Build a Cupcake Punch

Just love the Build a Cupcake Punch and the Framed Tulips embossing folder from the A/W mini catalogue. I have incorporated a few different techniques on this card. It was fun to design and create and I love the finished product.

Card - Build a Cupcake Punch

The new Build a Cupcake Punch from the Autumn/Winter catalogue is the feature of this card. The colours are inspired by DSP Sunny Garden.

Cards - Birthday Bakery

I chose DSP Sunny Garden and colours to match. The stamped feature is on watercolour paper, which is a joy to colour in, as it holds lots of moisture without buckling.

Cards - Baby Tees

Here I created a window and stamped my verse from the Level 3 Hostess Set - Occassional Quotes on vellum cardstock and used it as the window pane. I cut just one of the Baby Tees from the roller and finished off the card with the Dot embossing folder and Itty Bitty Buttons.

Cards - Kimono Kids

Faux Silk #2 is the technique for the background of this card. The buttons are the Itty Bitty Buttons from the Summer Mini.

Cards - Make a Monster

I saw this frame effect in a stamping mag. I stamped the mosters on watercolour paper, so that I could get a good blend of the colours. Not sure how this one will go through the post, maybe it will have to be a hand delivered design. The basic layout is from Friday's Card Play Day template.

Cards - Extreme Guitar

Another card I made on Friday at Card Play Day using the Template.

Cards - Two Step Bird Punch

This is one of the cards I made on Friday at my Card Play Day. Colours are Wild Wasabi, So Saffron and Rose Red.

This layout was inspired by a layout I saw in the Stamping and Papercraft magazine.
