Card Class

Valentines Card and Treat.

Created this very cute Valentines card using the Follow My Heart stamp set that was released early December,  but way too much Christmas stuff happening to get to play with it.   The little "treat monster" is a cute kit that includes 18 of the monsters, that you simply put together.  The card base is a basic card kit also available with Valentines in mind.

I have put together a class, where you will make up the monster and create 2 cards.  Please contact me for information.

Card Class

I designed this card today using one of the lovely new Stamp Sets that were released on 1st December.   Took me this long to put away the Christmas stamps and punches (still have a couple of cards to drop off though)...boy how time flies.

Saw a YouTube demo on making this box and just had to make my own.  I thought the Bow using the Bow big shop Die was the perfect finish.

I designed this card for a workshop tonight. Trying to show off the new Thinlits-label card die.  Very easy to use with the Big Shot machine.  I made the flowers with the Flower Shop stamp set and co-ordinating Pansy punch. Also used the Flower Garden EF.

This my take on a Christmas card using the Thinlits-Label Card Die.

This card is a direct case from a card I saw at Jennie's at our team meeting.  The only change I made, was to add a layer of Midnight Muse cardstock to the back for added stability.

Here is what the girls made at this years 1st Christmas Card Class today.

Thursday, August 29, 2013

The girls at the LJBC Craft Group enjoyed making the card I designed for them yesterday.  I taught them the "Baby Wipe" technique and we used some of the new In Colours, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana.  We finished it off making a 3D flower with the Flower Shop stamp set and matching Pansy Punch.

Had a relatively quiet week with my Stampin' Up! business. Friday night I did a workshop with my lovely Morley ladies, it was a late night, as the card I designed for them to make had quite a lot of elements to it, so it took a while for them all to make it.  It was certainly worth it I think.  Here is what they all made.

On Saturday was the Make a Statement Digital Studio Tour - Perth event.  What a fabulous session we all had.  It was a hands on, step by step class on how to use our new Digital Content for Photobooks, home decor, invitations, flyers, cards and more (only limited by your imagination).  Prize Patrol was an unexpected bonus, with about 20 ladies receiving a selection of fabulous product.  Then an All Attendee Prize Patrol - everyone there will receive a selection of Digital Content this week.  Stampin' Up! are very generous.  So we actually receive more than the $35 registration fee in Digital Products Wow !!!

I was really happy with the final result for this card.

I designed it for my daughter who turned 20 last Friday.  She loves Tiffany & Co, therefore I used Soft Sky cardstock as it is close to the Tiffany Colour, and she loves shoes....

This card I designed for my sister's birthday.  Of course I made two, one for Natalie and one for my sample box.

At play day last Friday, there was only a couple of us....sorry about the late notice.

Here is the card I made using the Card Recipe.

I used the Soho Subway DSP as a background feature and used the colours in the DSP for the card.  The little details are the new Candy Dots which co-ordinate with the blank brad bases, so you make up the brad in whatever colour you require, or simply use the Candy Dots by themselves.  I also added the Arrow Clip from the Essentials Hardware Clips.

8th August was a Techniques Class day.  I taught the girls two techniques, Bouncing Bayer and Faux Shaving Cream (which does not involve much mess....)

This is the card the girls made using the Faux Shaving Cream technique and the new Six-sided Sampler stamp set and matching punch.

This is the card the girls made at Techniques Class on 8th August.  The technique is called Bouncing Brayer.

Versa Mark Resist was the 2nd technique the girls did on the 31st July.

This is the card they then made using the technique.

Wednesday 31st July was a Techniques Class.  At the class I taught the girls 2 techniques, Mirror Image and Versa Mark Resist.

What a busy, but exciting start to this month I have had.  Stampin' Up! launched our new 2013/14 Catalogue.  I held my Launch on Saturday 6th with an open house.  The ladies that came along got to make a card using some of the fabulous new colours, the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and finished it off the one of the new Pressed Clay flowers I had made.

This is the card they all made.

Play Day today was very quiet, probably due to the late notice, but I did have one playmate.

I have just got the Best of Flowers stamp set, released as the June - Best of 25 Years Celebration stamp sets.  A new set will be released each month featuring a Theme.  They started this month and will continue until next April and they will be available while stocks last.

Please contact me for more infomation.

Well, it has been almost a year since my last post on this site.  That was simply because I have been uploading all my card designs directly onto my Stampin Up site.

If you would like to see my creations, please visit my site at www.yvonnepree.stampinup.net, click on "ideas", and view my designs which are listed under the main stamp set that I have used.

After attending another fantastic Stampin' Up! Convention in Brisbane and listening to some wonderful inspiring ladies (and a couple of gents), I have decided to get back into "blogging".

So here is what I have done today.

I ran a Techniques Class today and these were the two cards made using the Techniques that I taught.
The top card was using the "Rock N Roll" and the lower card using the "Emboss Resist" techniques.  I am running classes on a weekly basis, so if you are interested, please contact me.
