Faux Silk Technique. 

Here is the card I designed for the girls to do at my Techniques Class yesterday.
The stamp set we used is Creative Elements.

Faux Silk #2 is the technique for the background of this card. The buttons are the Itty Bitty Buttons from the Summer Mini.

I created these two cards on Friday at my Card Play day. Tempting Turquiose and Taken with Teal are the main colours, with a little Certainly Celery as highlights. The technique is Faux Silk.

Card - Embrace Life

Faux Silk is a beautiful technique, creates a soft backgound paper. I used the Embrace Life stamp set with Almost Amethyst, So Saffron and Mellow Moss to create this elegant design. The card I saw using this effect only used the leaves, but I like the added colour of the blossoms.
