Cards - Great Friend

Just been playing (instead of cooking dinner....oops) and came up with this design. I used the new Great Friend stamp set in the Spring Mini Catalogue. The butterflies are stamped on vellum card, thus giving the effect of flying.

Card - A Rose is a Rose

Made this one up for todays workshop. I used the Linen effect then the two step stamps, A Rose is a Rose. The colours are Regal Rose, Rose Red and Mellow Moss.

Cards - Crazy for Cupcakes

I used the Stampin Up Colour Wheel to co-ordinate these colours together, Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquiose, Blossom Blush, Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery.
After colouring in the cupcakes with crayons, I applied Crystal Effects over the cherry and icing to add appeal.

Tri-Shutter Card

My eldest daughter just turned 16, this is the card I made for her.

I used DSP-Tea Party and matched the card stock to it and covered numbers with DSP for the feature on the front. The butterfly is from the "For a friend" set and also stamped the flower from Organic Grace on the inside panels.

Step Card - Friend

Just fininshed this one. The main feature is a beautiful "Friends" verse I found on the internet. Colour scheme is pretty in pink and sage shadow.

Cards - Crazy for Cupcakes

Made this one for a good friend, Fran.
Jenny my upline showed me a card in using this layout, like steps or stairs. I couldn't find any instructions on the web, so I made up my own measurements and used Crazy for Cupcakes and Baroque wheel for my design.

Cards - Lovely as a Tree

I wanted to try out the new White Stazon on Acetate, so came up with this original. Not sure if it will show up on the picture well, but I used small Snow Burst stamp in white stazon on acetate to give an effect of snow falling in the foreground and the trees in the background. I was really please with the final product.

Cards - Season of Joy

I saw this beautiful layout on someone else's blog or splitcoasters (I can't remember), I loved the way the flowers jump off the page, then put my own touch to it with the verse tag. Thank you to the original designer.

Cards - Season of Joy

Another from my Christmas in July Card Play Day.

Cards - Season of Joy

Had a Christmas in July Card Play Day on 31st July. After being at school doing Fete preparation, before the card play, I had completely lost my mojo. A few of the other girls got straight into it, making some great cards. Finally I decided to do embossing resist using Baja Breeze and Pacific Point, making the background card. I am really pleased with the results.

Cards - Seaside

I designed this card using the Tri Fold idea I saw on slitcoaststampers.

The verse on the front is printed on Vellum paper, which I love to use to add verses I have found on the internet. I used Urban Garden DSP to tie all the colours in together.

Cards - Tres Chic

I adapted a card that Jenni, my upline demonstrated at one of my first Stampin Up workshops, before I became a demonstrator.

I changed the sizes so it was a full size card and used the pretties kit, scollop punches to decorate the front.

Cards - Sense of Time

I just love this set, it is very versatile and just great for the masculine look.

Again I used the Parisian Breeze Designer Series paper to co-ordinate with the colours I've used.

Cards - Sense of Time

Parisian Breeze Designer Series Paper used again with this card. Baja Breeze, Choc Chip, Sahara Sand and Kraft are the colours used.

Card - Sense of Time

Sense of Time is a great set, particularly for masculine cards.

I used some of the Parisian Breeze Specialty Designer Paper also from the Spring Mini to co-ordinate with this set.

Cards - Just Beachy

Cards - Just Beachy

Saw this "Port Hole" idea on splitcoasters and thought is would be great using our new stamp set "Just Beachy" in the Spring Mini Catalogue.
